Boni is an indian [ more so south indian concept of beginning]
Boni is defined as taking a proper non-compromised first step in any activity.
Any thing you start, you need to start well so that the results of the activity are positive. This is typically seen in the road hawkers, where they would not sell on discount to the "boni" [read first ] customer of the day.
the idea is that the first sale of the day has to be sold at the price the one has decided so that the dealings of the day go good.
When one goes shopping in the morning, and when we negotiate the deal with say a vegetable vendor, she / he would say this is Boni saar!
